HIV and AIDS, disastrous phenomena of our millennium, have affected many as biggest threat of our life. Fortunately keeping record of just 556 positive cases, Afghans are luckily are protected from exposure to the problem mostly.

It’s thought that this lower figure is for grace of Islamic law enforcement on ban on illegal sex along with some other reasons. To have more clues for our readers in this regard, we have done below interview with Sheikh Asif Muhsini muslim religious leader and principle of Afghanistan chia’s sect of Islam

Question: What is general vision of the Islam towards Sexual Transmitted Diseases (STD) which gets to various problems like HIV and AIDS?

Answer: There is obligatory option according to Islam. In this case muslim should protect their selves from the illnesses and its Virus. Because it’s likewise of suicide, what we have it’s opposite verses in Quran saying “do not kill yourselves by your own hands.”

Question: Is there any new and up to date decree declared regarding to HIV and AIDS in Islam? If there is, could you come with more information, please?

Answer: As concerning to my personal vision and studies, I have explained in detail the topic in one of my book namely “ Fiq “ section of religious science which explains daily practice of Islam” and medical topics “ . So every muslim should protect him/ herself from it’s transmitting factors accordingly. It’s to government to do their best to eliminate diffusion of HIV and AIDS (even if there is need quarantine of affected persons)

Question: how do you evaluate the role of Imams in prevention of the illnesses as they can convince people during their speeches? 

Answer: it’s a joint mission of Imams, doctors and health workers and all community to prevent from illegal sex, rape and homosexuality firstly. They can teach people on HIV and AIDS . Meanwhile it’s of course a must to any muslim to fight against the illnesses pretending it as one of their teaching point.  

Question: According to Islam how should treat with  a HIV and AIDS positive  person?

Answer: If any one has affected him / her self intentionally, he /she is responsible in doomsday. While if any one has been contaminated by chance or lack of knowledge he/ she be honored as normal person with our any discrimination.

Question: Mostly it’s thought that one of the big factors of HIV and AIDS transmission is having sex of one man  with two women or more at the moment (polygamy) . As polygamy and Sigha Muqat “kind of getting married which both woman and man will be separated after fixed due officially “are allowed in Islam, what you think about the blame meet with these roles? 

Answer: Mostly HIV and AIDS transmitted from doing sex of one woman with two or more than men simultaneously, so the blame is not much too concerned. In past there even now there are some muslims having two or even three women with safe sex and no sex case are reported concerning them. 

Concerning the Sigh-e- Moqat, it’s the same with permanent marriage. If there is not any pre affected case with one spouse, there would not be any HIV/ AIDS case. While in contrary it’s possible to affect the newborn as well. 

Question: how do you advise to protect society from HIV /AIDS through religious teaching?

Answer: Islam has been banned rape; use of drugs {even has remarked these factors of HIV and AIDS as suicide}. So it’s to all muslim to spread the role to all people. Doctors, health workers and Imams can do more and better in this regards. But not being banned illegal sex, and late getting married of young generation thanks to economical problems we can not be hopeful concretely, because in this case such preach will be remarked as an absurd word.   

Question: is there any restriction to give information about HIV and AIDS to any one (especially women)?

Answer: No, absolutely no. instead it’s every Muslim’s duty to spread the information about transmitting factor of the diseases to all man. 

Question: Since HIVand AIDS is untreatable illnesses till now, is not there any sanction on getting married with a HIV and AIDS affected person according to Islam?  

Answer: Getting married with such persons are allowed. But since doing sex might lead to HIV and AIDS, so it’s not allowed to sex with them. But normal living with them as spouse dose not create any problem.

Question: what is your massage to our readers to help prevention of HIV and AIDS?

Answer: I advise responsible officials to combat against transmission of the HIV and AIDS rather than treatment positives cases. Nowadays if any one gets the illness there is need of 25000 $ to keep him / her alive at least. The diseases affected person have been soared to 45000 cases, while there have been 10000 victims according to former director of United Nation. So, all of them are proofs that we should take care of prevention in advance.   

 Verification of Chias s’ personal code of conduct by parliament and President Hamid Karzai arose a huge and numerous debates, riot and coherent questions.

Why the code had been kept so mysterious? What for it is marked bitterly sensitive and fragile discussion in national wide? How the chias used to manage their personal affairs in absence of the law? What is the main paradoxical point of this? How it disintegrates the women rights inspite of equal rights in Afghanistan constitution? What is the view of Suni religion regarding to the case? Finally how much we count on so called personal code of conduct as religious rules?

It is taught that a handful Muslim thinks deeply on their religion though they believe in it as an update, logic tools of life. Being born in a Muslim family, they are firstly Muslim boys rather than Muslim. Normally, their family faiths overshadow scientific and realistic researches and demonstrations against what is said daily. As a Muslim son I am confused mostly by code of “women could not venture out without husbands’ permission.“ While there is not the restriction upon men and there is an unlimited autonomy for men. The next interesting and hesitating one goes to marriage age.

Concerning to legal age of marriage, it’s declared as 14 according to Islamic law. But in some exceptional condition any of her relatives can delegates her authorities and right. Though rarely seen, it seems as normal conduct among different types of Muslims concerning last marriage case of 8 years girl with 80 years man in Saudi Arabia recently. Imagine, I am personally Muslim by genealogy rather than Muslim by logic. All of my beliefs depicted from some “oral presentation of Islam “and “my personal experience in a Muslim family. “ 

By verification of the Shia’s personal law, I was shuddered to think about it. I asked myself what strange Muslim am I! What disgraces are hidden in my religion, historical pride and identifications under cover of the Islam!

I think Muslim boys cannot condemn any. There is no question concerning to the law founders. We cannot blame them to misinterpretation of the faith due to our less information regarding to reality of Shiais code of conduct.

I am surprised for verification of Afghanistan’s president, ignorance of senators and political coalitions on firming of a comprehensive code of life of human beings. I ask them if they can get married their 8 years child to an 80 man. If no, on whom the law should be enforced? Can they stand ignorance of freedom on selection of spouse? Why they do not want to think on long lasting travels of men without respect of sexual, love, economical needs and psychology of their wives? Why the law master minds have not replaced their selves instead of people while writing the roles?

I cannot accept the idea of “faith as factor of misfortunate“. But can we count on so called law as real codes of life and fortunate? Absolutely no! Can we judge faith as irrelevant points? Again negative response! But why it does not work properly? I think most of our faiths go to long lasting period of history intermingled with tribal codes of conducts. Acting as today’s Muslim, it’s up to us to update our finding in parallel with new emerged and practical ideas. Since I am not specialist in theology or religion, I accept the verified law as reality in chiasm. But it cannot be a beneficial one, too.

The Muslim especially shiest count on their teaching as life leading role rather than as weakened and expired one. Addressing no allowance of Ejtihad in Sunism how we can expect the role accordingly? For example different types of Sunism follower indicate 40 years for a woman who missed her husband to wait for his return at maximum. As a suni follower, can we follow the role? According to resources the life expectancy differs from 43-45 years here. In this case can the law act as way to prosperity in our life? Can it lead any Afghan woman in elimination of her sexual or economical problems? But the question is remaining that why we are witnessed to emerge of such ever developed codes?

 I think there is a paradox between our common legitimacy systems. Afghanistan as home to absolute Muslim minority is governed by Islamic codes in chart of some laic modern rights. For instance, there is a big contradiction on setting legal age for getting married for a girl and a boy between current constitution and religious codes. Due to the constitution a 18 years person can get married while the religious law indicates 14 for girls and 16 to boys.

In conclusion we are part of young and real followers who do not let so called codes revealed for human prosperity. We should tackle for a practical, effective and logical ways of life in replace of killing of realities. It is up to us to give up “Muslim boy” for “logic Muslim” camp. We can clean stigmas covering reality of faith and counting equally on the woman as men. We should leave them to speak. Having such condition we will not have such self righteous and interpreters of the Islam any more.

Humanity

Living in a pro dominated society of human being it’s counted as a must to cast eyes on the questions likewise: what is humanity? Is there any close link between humanity and human being at all? What values are behind humanity? What benefits have brought the topic in current life? Which demonstrations have been emerged through protection of humanity?

Firstly by Oxford dictionary, humanity is “state of being a person rather than the God … “and “the quality of being kind to people and animal ….” Andra Malro defines the human being as little sack of mysterious secrets. In this case humanity is code of conduct referencing to the thinker. Thirdly the human rights in our community remarked to the condition of preventing what overshadows others rights and freedom. Fourth due to common teaching of humanity it is said to terms of “equality “,”brothering” and “freedom”. So we can say there is a close and concert relationship between the two discussions. In addition since we are in need of peace and stability always in our planet we should pay more heed to gain it through preservation of humanity.

All in all, having eyes on the points it’ obvious that by ignorance of humanity, human being life is bare of its real senses. And if you want to stop life here, it‘s better to commence by killing of humanity in advance.

Who is human being and what is humanity?

 Finding the question is an essential target of Nimad . The 7^th class had intersection role in my life. I have experienced a cold wave with heavily snowfall in winter following of my 6^th class. I am a thin, pale and horrified tanager in one photo from the time.   

My villagers cast eyes on the sky rather to any demonstration in modern agriculture sector. My father was jobless since several months. He used to act as a Mullah. Finally He was recruited in our school. He was supposed to teach us history and religion what was essential for my education. He pulled me out of disgraces and disappointments aftermath of constantly failure. He has counted on me all time even in peak of my failures I was not marked nil at all in his eyes. I have been witnessed of his whispers with teacher resulting to safer and kind attitude {even some time adulating one} of the teachers with me.But every thing was legal, logic and normal thanks to bitter competition between father and his competitor. Father’s enemies were treating me negatively whether by reducing my marks in examinations or disintegrating me in the class.

School’s administration had been changed to a battle ground what most of time the dilemma was brought to our classes. Every one was claiming themselves as servant of people while others were traitors. My breaths stop by remembering the disgrace in my school now.

…the bell range .Every one was trying to get out through columns of dusty air and noisy classes sooner. Suddenly I heard father scream insulting some one. I was chocked, anxious and pale completely. Father was trying to punish his rival. I was confused really on marking his treatment good or shameful event? Should I have done in favor of father or act as normal student? Stretched line of students was parted by shouting of head teacher as bedroll seeds. Having a strange condition, fathers shout “Be careful, I want my rights. Is it possible to ignore me? Can you do it? “

I was chocked. Honestly I got me as ashamed, weakened, lost figurine. I was confused whether I follow on my jealousy, bullring students, and dirty words of our teacher {specially my father}!Warm and natural relation ship of the Electrons, Atoms and their naturally balance was surprising, amusing, new, serious, and fascinating to me all time. I have the lessons still in my depth of my mind and heart.

Arabic dialects were too interesting to me especially as clue on discrimination of Arabs on women even in their literature. They have special conjugation on male and female case what was funny and interesting point at all. Mathematics was good enough now. I was learning the missed passages by time. But I was board with Math teacher always. He accustomed to be drowsy and always he was looking deeply on the earth for nothing. Father was teaching history. It was interesting to me: having journey in past civilizations of Babul, Younan and Humar, Binu nahrin , Mohanjodaru and historical Egypt . I was discovering myself as complex one in Biology classes.

I had a great time by abandoning my pre friends. My rest time was decreasing in favor of my studies. Not speaking of laughing at my father’s old and thick books I was going through some of them. It was very though to get them, which I could not help my laugh ting.Some time I used to laugh at leather covered books of father asking myself if such old things can lead us to new world! Any how they were father’s book and loved them all them even in respect of father.

Afghanistan: Conquering of TB pentagon as dilemma in Afghanistan

Having an ever expanding rate in poppy cultivation, vast poverty and huge stigmatizations towards Tuberculosis (TB), number of positive cases is soaring by time. On cue of the points in absence of enough therapeutic TB center , lack of TB experts and health workers can we count on Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) of  Afghanistan declaration on increase of  detection rate to 50% till 2011?

Najib Amiri and Sayed Baqir have tried to study the implementation of this declaration possibility in this report.

In isolated and humid room in center of Samangan north of Afghanistan, 12 years girl Zamarud‘s constantly coughing had a special music. Flinching while interview she was not able to hide ample of poverty and expressing her obligation to work here.

H black, pale and thin body building was indications for TB smear positive cases. She was complaining from loss of appetite; constantly cough with blood, early getting up in the morning, night sweating as well. Her co-worker 20 years Nider who is under TB treatment process for 7 months cannot hide his anxious and recalls his bitter memo of his parents deaths and her last advice of his mother “ my son , go to doctor . But be care full that villager did not know that.”

He does not claim any one guilty in the adventure unless their self- stigmatization. He remembers his father strong negating on going to doctor and usual treatment of him by eating poppy directly.

According to experts smoke of poppy and cannabises affect lungs and branches and causes abnormality in follow of blood in body .Not speaking of carpet industry workers, but also addicts are in front line of the illness. Being 1.5 million edicts in the country can we count all edicts as TB positive cases? Dr.Abdullah Fahim spokesman of the MoPH certifies the clue indirectly saying most of the edicts are in a vulnerable condition Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and TB.

Living with a group of edicts Ghulam Rasol expresses himself as lost and ill one .He is positive with TB and his doctor has refuted him thanks insufficient money. Currently Afghanistan ‘s health sector is run by private sector , free governmental  hospitals and human train aids implemented by some medical None Governmental Organization in frame work of Basic Package Health based on Community (BPHS). The associations plus some special therapeutic centre on detection and treatment of TB are dealing in Direct Observation Treatment System (DOTS) outline.

According to the system every patient should spend two months under doctor in health facility and the rest will be supervised by one his/ her  close person(Family member , friends ) calling support groups.

Referring to Dr.Friad TB program responsible of Aide Medicale Internationale (AMI) in Samangan province, though DOTS is effective on change of community thoughts and TB treatment, “still the problem is committed is a stigma.” But can we count on the MoPH assumptions on reducing of TB in presence of vast stigmatization, lack of drugs, health workers and experts and slapdash behaviors of men towards women – whom are the majority of TB victims-?

Khadija Haidari a midwife and psychosocial worker shakes hand in refusal by recalling one of her memories in Dahni Manjo special TB therapeutic center in Lal and Sari Jangal of Ghour province. She remembers a mother of 8 children fleeing home for the health center by night and aggressive attitude of her husband while expelling of the dying mother from the center ward.She admitted a huge gap in process of the mother TB case treatment and its changing to Multi Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB). This is one of the most problems on the way of anti TB campaign thanks to bulky amount of unqualified and even expired medications in black markets.

Mr.Safi the pharmacy of AMI NGO claims that “there was no efficiency and real quality in TB drugs like Septromicine and other drugs sold in black markets any longer.”

Not existing of any resettlement program here the rate of population growth is getting up rapidly. While there is not any national tightly done strategy on family planning and birth spacing and mostly populated families or sweet haunt of TB.

Malali (mother of 9 children) lives with her husband and her rival wife in one room. She says that she and her three children are TB affected. His husband is an addict framer in poppy framer of Zhili district of Kandahar in south of Afghanistan. He did not use poppy, cannabises, but by joining to the poppy farmers now he is addict and TB positive. Her home was bombarded in military operation getting them shifting to Kabul the capital of Afghanistan where the doctors admit her staying at least five months in clinic.

 But Ghulam Ghus (her husband) negates the proposition thanks to their tight code of clans. He said “It was a shame to leave his wife there alone.” Doctors have diagnosed the mother as MDR-TB owner due to some delay in referral and constantly defaulter and stoppage in her treatment process.

Having eyes on the aforementioned cases the MoPH spokesman informs from 1031 TB therapeutic centers in all over country while the minister of MoPH demanded strengthened campaign against TB in Brazil on TB international seminar recently.

Anyhow , poverty , self – stigmatizations, low rate of medical information , lack of regular medications supply and scientific researches , poppy cultivation are angles of TB pentagon which bitterly break down  speed of health sector in the country and remain them failed.

Keep your strength

The international day of women was celebrated in Afghanistan  simultaneously holding speeches here and there , chaffing ,board coverage of Afghanistan state and death of a 16 years girl .

Normally, so called incidents are coinciding with bloody critic on men hegemony, speeches and hypercritic political gestures of some opportunist. I prefer to use the “Most “word in describing and ask why we are witnessed of such abusive assassination in the international day of women – there by they should be honored – by one woman? What is the reason behind inadvertently elimination of women rights in their hands? What is social mainstay factor of the adventure? Can we count on economical and gender discrimination? What is the meaning by the case? Thinking on the new phenomenon, can we estimate a clear and wide spread sustainability and flexibility towards protection and honor of women rights? Can we count on Ministry of Women affairs or so on organizations on preservation of women rights?

I think in traditional and patriarchal society of Afghanistan, family violence and women harassment are as daily practice! But the recent incident seems a new improvement thanks to its sensitive time {in the international day of women} and its functionary {a woman gets a girl to suicide}. The16 years Fatima’s cases  revises the fact that still there are handful men and women known to women values and rights which spar even their “natural life”. Secondly it claims that women are not a free human being and no one can sustain it, because in spite of several appeals, the Fatima was failed to secure any supporter. Thirdly it means that no one can venture crushing of outlines of men and some women, family violence, irrelevant and loose traditions plus clan verses, unless they should pay heavy cost to overcome the innovation. Currently, the Afghan women live under auspice of the men scarcely thinking about transition of the mandatory of women. Meanwhile it does not make any senses to keep quite in existing gender- type contradictions for “rights transition “which instead the women should protest for it. In this case it has been wiser if the ministry had changed so called celebration  to establishment of  economical projects targeting economical independency of women, capacity building programs , investigative centers on women rights and wide spread of propaganda on explaining of women rights and values  , institute and special universities for woman and girls leading them to freedom and selfishness . I think if there is not any economical restrictions, lower education, abusive traditions claiming women a spare or obedient gender, they can stand for their rights. In addition the civil rights and women rights organizations and activists and women representatives in parliament have not done any remarkable project on preserving of their rights. But the guiltiest I mark the representatives whom mostly think to personal business or act as guide in shackling women in new manacles. 

 So all aforementioned organizations should confess their faults and get up from deep slumber. Because they could not even keep their solidarity on feminism and no role has approved to keep their rights yet. In this case I personally find the women first guilty rather than loss and fundamental notions of society and the men fully hegemony. Besides it was proofed that higher educations can not act as leading tool by its self in women rights reservation. While I think there should be some common vision on “feminism and women values “in replacement. To do the all projects, there is dire need of a vast investigation from women social positions, challenges in the way feminism movements in Afghanistan and general revising of women rights according to oversea feminists. If they can perform the steps, afghan women can find themselves “free and equal with in men in rights”, they will tackle for their rights and there will not be any assassination of human being rights (especially women).

Finally if we want to have an ideal society {containing equal women and male} there should be some changes in social view plus solid confrontation of women for their rights. They must make stand against any further humiliations and “keep their strength “.

Namad and I (3

 On the cue of past topics we have directed to abyss investigation targeting setting of “Namad” for a proper and acceptable life. To get the mainstay points, we should tracl down for the most barriers and shackles through development. I think below factors are a essential tools to switching off expansion and owing welfare in life:

-  Proper investment on national infrastructures and human being force.

-  Replacement of ideological obstacles and barriers on the way of improvement.

So, we will impeccably concentrate on the topics serving on development of a comprehensive and practical Namad to expand the outline and standards for entire the world.

Namad and I (2

Every one wants to have their presence in current fascinating cybernetic space. The fact most notably gets my enthusiasm establishing mine as well. Communication revolution, storm of globalization, quick changes of scientific theories proof that there will be narrow chance for "words" to arise their voice via newspapers and publication that gets people brainstorming on new channels as web (log, sites etc.)

I think so called explanation justifies establishment the notion but mostly it seems artificially. In this regards some of readers may have questions for me on "Namad ": why I have established my weblog and what will be its content generally? What can be my product through it? Honestly, some time I feel anxious on occupying cyber café for irrelevant things. The fear arises from consequently of my heading on many weblogs: Some of them are really disgrace; runners are hot to love stories or even immoral things. While some one – majority of them - act as clear mind and think that they use theirs as beach heads to tackle for new life.

What about me? Personally, I am not quite sure whether I focus on script of my daily life or scream of illiteracy as Ms.MB? Should I write on Democracy, human rights civil society, literature, cultural and political topics or I prefer some deadly under ground issue of sex, law and order, political etc? These ample topics again pose me the question of "which one should be covered in my weblog?" and which strategy can lead me properly to the target?

I want to rethink on Persian saying of "Adab ra az bi adaban amukhtam " meaning " I got sound courtesy from stupid people " . So I want to do my weblog following so called stupid weblog runners and advocate it to experts and thinkers product. Let me add that mostly it is thought that it should be on "News and media ", thanks to my profession. But frankly, it is not my business here; instead "Namad "will be hub of new ideas to get crossing the dark passage for lights and bright life.
